For those who need to know, the tribe is going to South Africa, via DC, Rome, Addis Ababa, Accra, Abidjan, and Lagos.

We are traveling with two kids, 8 months and 16 months.

Life is grand.

So, needless to say, we have been dealing with getting visas and other documents in preparation for our trip.
I spent countless hours at the good old USPS tracking, paying, shipping, and agonizing over whether my shipments had made it there. We finally have all our visas, so we are ready to go.

We are exactly 69 days away from returning from our upcoming trip.

By we, I mean us

and our great friends Yves and Adis

along with their wonderful daughter, our goddaughter, Mariam

and let's not forget our 'maid', Liz (Kim's cousin)

We will update this over the next few days. I just wanted to get this up and running.
